Our new partnership with Age Well is taking off quicker than we expected. Our first week, we distributed 42 Grab & Go meals, and our second week we increased to having 90 people registered!
From snowshoeing to movie screenings and iPhone tips and tricks, we have a wide range of activities for all interests.
Winter classes are in full swing at the Senior Center.

Will we be all fooled again into thinking fall is already here —only to have a few 90-degree days at the end of the month? We shall see.
Our OPEN flag is out. We’re open 9 to 4, Monday through Friday, and located across from the post office. We’re getting back up to speed and there’s lots going on.
We are excited to be offering our Monday Munches at the Charlotte Senior Center again.
As we begin to open our doors and start offering in-person classes again, we are pleased to announce that Lori York has joined the Senior Center in a part-time position as Assistant to the Director. Lori has a wealth of experience and is looking forward to meeting participants and welcoming volunteers back to the Center.
The Senior Center has begun a ‘soft opening.’ Priority is being given to those groups that have not been able to gather on Zoom: Bridge, Mahjong, Strength Maintenance, Tai Chi -Advanced. By the end of this month, Essentrics and Pilates classes will be back in person.

Well, wasn’t that a surprise! The CDC’s announcement about masks last Friday managed to make the CSC’s Summer Schedule out of date—just as it was being printed.
Life is often not as simple as we would like. Despite the announcements that senior centers in Vermont may open again, there are still many guidelines and restrictions that centers throughout the state are grappling with.
The Spring Schedule 2021 covering March through May is an early insert in this edition. There is a lot to see – and you’ll probably want to have your calendar handy.
Have you been sitting at home much? There’s no time like the present to sign up for an online exercise course or two. You are always welcome to try out one class—if you decide you do not want to continue with it, the fee is waived.
