Carbs are not the bad guy. Really!

Carbs get a bad rap these days. Carbohydrates are our energy source. Not all carbs are created equally. Recreational water use, part 2

Vermont is blessed with over 800 lakes and ponds, more than 284 of which are larger than 20 acres. The varieties of hunger

The varieties of hunger

There are many reasons we reach for food and not just for hunger. Feeling hungry can range from genuine hunger to intense cravings. We tend to give into our cravings when we have not consumed real meals, especially breakfast. Vaping and Juuling: A youthful rite of passage or a camel’s nose through the tent flap?

Perhaps you saw the headline in the January 24 issue of The Charlotte News: “CVU responds to recent drug-related issues.” The story shed light on growing concerns among educators and policymakers about the appearance of vaping and juuling in schools. Are these part of some new dance or fashion craze? What does this have to do with drugs in our schools?
