Saco River watercolor and gouache 5” x 7 ”

A Brush with Nature: Landscape Paintings by Lillian Kennedy will open  March 4th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at All Souls Interfaith on Bostwick Farm Road in Shelburne. The show will also be open to the public Tuesdays – Fridays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Lillian will feature paintings of Lake Champlain where she spends as much time as possible watching the light change. Although she has painted it over and over, it is never the same to her! The subtle differences in time of day, breeze, moisture, and season keep her gazing. Her deeply felt pieces are created at the confluence of art, nature, and spirit. The exhibit will include writings about the process.

On March 18, Lillian will give a benefit workshop to support All Souls from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.  She will teach Fearless and Serene: Watercolor and Gouache Landscape painting. No previous art experience needed and all materials provided. $25. Email Lillian to register.
