What does Charlotte mean to you?

woman taking picture of sunset on her phone. lifestyle conceptWith five days to go to the deadline, 30 Charlotters have told us — in words and images — what Charlotte means to them. We’d love to hear from more of you.

What is it about this place that brought you here, that keeps you here and fills your heart with gratitude? Do you find meaning in the fields, farms and forests and the stunning views? Or is it more about friendships made and deepened, a sense of community and neighbors helping neighbors?

Send us your high-resolution photo and two or three sentences that describe what Charlotte means to you by this Friday, June 30. You’ll be entered with a chance for terrific prizes and the opportunity to be published in our July 13 paper and on our website.

You could win a sunset cruise on the lake, a two-hour photography session with contest judge, Lee Krohn, or $100 worth of vegetables, herbs and flowers from Head over Fields farm. If you’re under 18, we have special prizes: gift certificates from Cookie Love and Stones Throw or four tickets to the ECHO Center.

Production manager Anna Cyr is looking forward to seeing your contest entries in her inbox.
