Matthew Vaughan of the Patrick Leahy Lake Champlain Basin Program will talk on Exploring Water Quality Impacts of the July 2023 Storm in the Lake Champlain Basin with an overview of the storm’s impacts, insights from water quality monitoring from during and after the storm, and historical context for this extreme event. The free program that is part of the Love the Lake speaker series begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Lake Champlain Basin Program Office, 54 West Shore Road, Grand Isle, just north of the Grand Isle ferry entrance.
