Following a three-month investigation, police identified two suspects in connection with the Feb. armed robbery at Spear’s Corner Store.

Andrew Coyle, 29, and his fiancée Marissa Tallman, 26, both of Ferrisburgh, were cited Tuesday night and are scheduled to appear in court later this week. Coyle was cited with suspicion of assault and robbery, and aggravated assault; Tallman faces one count of accessory aiding in the commission of a felony.

State police say an extensive investigation and multiple interviews revealed Coyle entered Spear’s Corner Store at about 6:20 p.m. on Feb. 13 with a BB-type gun, threatened the clerk and demanded money from the register. Tallman, his partner in crime, acted as the getaway driver. No injuries were reported.

Police working with Chittenden County prosecutors cited both suspects into the Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in Burlington to answer the charges at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, May 20.

An quote found on Coyle’s Facebook account reads, “Focus on money more than people cause I never met a dollar I didn’t like.”

Coyle and Tallman announced their engagement in May 2019.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
