Race to temporarily close Mt. Philo mountain road and hiking trails

The Sports Car Club of Vermont (SCCV) will present the Mt. Philo Hillclimb in Charlotte Oct. 13, 14 and 15. The Mt. Philo mountain road and hiking trails will be closed to the general public from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. The park will also be closed to cars at noon on Friday while the SCCV sets up safety equipment on the hill.

A hillclimb is a speed event up the mountain road with drivers racing against the clock. If you are interested in driving or working, please visit the Sports Car Club of Vermont. For more information call (802) 777-1000 or email SCCV.
