During their regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 28, the selectboard approved a motion to move a property easement to the southern edge of a property owned by Margaret and Michael Russell at 2577 Lake Road.
Last fall, Laurie Thompson from the Charlotte Trails Committee contacted me about doing a mural in the underpass beneath Route 7 in the section of the Town Link Trail between Mt. Philo State Park and the Charlotte Berry Farm.

Last Thursday, Oct. 24, Charlotte Tree Warden Mark Dillenbeck held a public hearing at Town Hall to address the removal of these trees. “Whenever we have living non-diseased trees that need to be removed, I’m required to hold a public hearing,” Dillenbeck explained at the opening of the meeting.
