A Bristol man was killed in a single vehicle crash on Route 7 in Charlotte early Saturday morning.
Route 7 traffic was stopped in both directions Wednesday morning after a six-car crash in Charlotte south of State Park Road, .4 miles north of the Ferrisburgh town line. Roads were icy after mixed precipitation and dropping temperatures overnight.
The fatal accident last week at the intersection of Route 7/Ethan Allen Highway and Church Hill Road is one of many in recent years. The stretch of roadway is the last rural part of a long highway that is the major thoroughfare for many tractor trailers and motorists. In
