A group of 20 petitioners opposing Emerald Green Properties’ Charlotte Family Health Center filed a Statement of Questions with the Chittenden County Superior Court on September 2.
Neighbors of the proposed Vermont Commons School Outdoor Education Center have raised concerns that, absent zoning restrictions imposed by the town, the South Burlington school will transform their quiet, pastoral community into a noisy, chaotic hub for sports events, graduation ceremonies and other large school gatherings.
Lisa and Roland Gaujac of the Old Lantern have settled their dispute with Adrian and Alison Wolverton. In an order announced on June 7 by the Vermont Superior Court Environmental Division, the Gaujacs withdrew their motion for sanctions against the Wolvertons and their lawyer, James Dumont, for abuse of judicial process; the Court revoked its order of sanctions; and the Wolvertons withdrew their appeal of the Court’s decision on the merits of the case.
