Stop the Bleed Day
Thursday, May 22, 12:30 p.m. & 7 p.m.
To mark National Stop the Bleed Day, the Charlotte Fire and Rescue Service is offering two sessions of a short, but important, life-saving training supported by the American College of Surgeons at the Charlotte Fire Station. This free class takes only one hour to complete and includes hands-on training in how to help in severe bleeding situations. Minutes count! Someone who is severely bleeding can bleed to death in as little as 5 minutes. To register for either the 12:30 p.m. or the 7 p.m. class, go to https://tinyurl.com/2xdmvbmk, click on May 22 on the calendar and select a class time. There is no fee for this class but spaces are limited so register early. Email for more information.
