Saturday, Dec. 7, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Third-fifth grade students are invited to spend an afternoon exploring space-related topics through workshops led by VTeen Science Ambassadors, a group of high school students who love science and have taken a leadership role in creating science programming for younger youth. The free event includes building and launching straw rockets, taking core samples of “moon” rocks and constructing an astronaut lander. Science Fun Day will happen on the University of Vermont.
