Fallen landmark in Charlotte Park

A massive oak tree on the Roberts Way trail in the Charlotte Park and Wildlife Refuge fell in late July after thunderstorms swept the area.

Julian Kulski, a member of the Charlotte Park and Wildlife Refuge Oversight Committee, said the “landmark tree was estimated to be 58 feet high and measured 152 inches in circumference.”
