Sympathy is extended to family and friends of Robert Magnuson who passed away recently at the age of 81. After having directed music programs in North Troy, Newport Center, Marshfield, Plainfield and Cabot town and rural schools, he was asked to be musical supervisor of the newly opened Champlain Valley Union High School in 1964. He served in that capacity for 25 years. He also taught music at Charlotte, Williston and Shelburne elementary schools during that time.
