Charlotte Town Special Meeting Results

Charlotte residents voted by Australian ballot on the $3,046,847 town budget and on a $40,000 allocation for trails on April 11. These two articles were discussed on the floor at Town Meeting and neither one was amended. They came before the town for an Australian Ballot vote exactly as they appeared in the Town Report.

Of the 3,226 registered voters, there were 475 total ballots cast, Town Clerk/Treasurer Mary Mead said. The town budget passed with 379 for and 93 against. And the trails article passed with 285 for and 190 against.

More information will be posted on this vote later today.
