Sen. Bernie Sanders speaks on funding for the arts at CVU town meeting

Student choral singers performed at an arts and education town meeting presented by Sen. Bernie Sanders at Champlain Valley Union High School in Hinesburg on May 25. Sanders told the crowd that he would do everything possible to keep federal funding for the arts and humanities in place. Choruses and musicians from the Champlain Valley School District, Barre, Colchester, Essex, Stowe and area universities also performed at the event.
